My Pet Peeve about those Opt-in Lists

Here is something what is getting under my skin. Those double-triple Opt-ins into the newsletters/ezines I’ve subscribed to already.

You know you subscribe to some newsletter, then a few days/weeks later the guy sends you a letter: “Here is this Fantastic New Tool which you for Sure Cannot Live Without on the Net, and because you are my loyal subscriber, here, I am giving it to you for free. Just click at this link to download”.

So you click at the link, come to the page, and what do you see? In order to get that newest super-hyper-duper gizmo you Have to Subscribe AGAIN!!
What the heck?

Talk about idiocy!

I ALREADY AM Your subscriber if you haven’t noticed you Dumbo, as This is How I came to know about it in the first place! Do you think my Inbox is so lonely it’s dying to get the Same newsletter twice or more?

I understand that everybody wants to get more subscribers as that is one of the basic mantra’s on the Net: “money is in the list”,
but why the heck are you Sending offer for subscription to the people who already ARE on your list?

Why don’t you just send Your Subscribers the link to download your gizmo if you truly want to thank me for being your loyal subscriber.

Or, make an extra page where you can eventually put all those freebies and bonuses for you Current subscribers Without having to subscribe again and again.
That’s totally insane!

And Yes, it Does happens to me almost every day!

Of course, that leaves you with only One choice: click on the “unsubscribe” link to get rid of all those double/triple indentical messages.

….aaah, what a Peace….!

Right on. It’s annoying enough to make me want to unsubscribe as well.

I’ve done it a few times.

Sometimes I think internet marketers are dedicated to making the world a worse place.
