What is an Affiliate Program?

Lets’ make this straight. No matter much the others will how sugar-coat it, Affiliate Program is basically “Selling on Commission” - plain and simple. You don’t sell -> you don’t get paid! Period.

But since many people don’t like to think about themselves as “Commisioned Salespeople” they invented the expression: “Affiliate or Associate Programs.”

I used to work “offline” on commission and it was the same. The only difference were the “means” you are using for finding your clients and sell to them = “How” you do it.

And I also don’t understand Why some people have problems with that “sales” terminology. Everybody Is in the “Sales” business! There is not one working person who would Not be in the “Sales”. Even when you are working for someone else you Are selling = your knowledge, your skills, and the Time of your life to someone else. And if you are a business owner, you are also “selling” = selling your products/services to your clients or potential partners/investors!

The whole economy is based on “Sales” so I don’t understand why some people are pretending “they” are not in the Sales and looking down on “sales”. It is just the reality of the life.
