Why are people so obsessed with SEO?
Everywhere I turn on the Net I see people agonizing about so called “organic” (= those Highly paid SEO firms term!) Search Engines listings. It’s like most of the folks don’t even accept that there are Other Means of Marketing and Advertising and that it is never a wise idea to put all your eggs into one basket, so whenever some Very Important Search Engine (especially Google) changes their listings those guys are on the verge of heart-attacks.
Halloo! People, wake up…!! Free Search Engines listing is NOT the Only way to bring you clients interested in your offer.
I personally think all this “SEO business” was created at first by some clever persons to make easy money. Then, when the others have seen they actually got away with it, more and more people got into it, made it more and more “complicated” and eventually the whole “professional industry” has been created.
And I can tell you many of these companies are making Big bucks! I know, as I am continuously being approached by these culprits offering “Me” their services! What an irony, right? ![]()
But trust me, when I first heard “how much” they are actually asking JUST for “getting you listed on the top of the Search Engines” I lost my breath. And of course you have to take their services for a minimum of 6 months, because these days it takes supposedly minimum so long to get at least a decent listing for your site. And for those of you who believe in so called Google Sandbox it may take up to 9-12 months these days.
What a fantastic clever idea! One has to admire these guys…
Although they are getting slightly on my nerves with that unasked for pushy telemarketing I never gave them permission for.
Who says spam is bad? I can at least just hit the Delete button, or have my mail prewashed before it even reaches me, but those buggy phone calls Cost me Money! because here in our North America paradise managed by greedy phone companies We Users are Paying also for phone calls To Us! - believe it or not, you lucky people living in other common sense parts of the world.
So these days whenever I get this “smart” call on my business cell phone asking me if I would like to have my site on the top of the Search Engines I just simply answer: “No” - which ultimately takes the breath from Them!
so the call is over before it started.
