Why would it bother me to buy through Affiliate Links?

I’ve just got an email from John Reese announcing also on his blog that he is going to stop using affiliate links for the promotion of other people’s products.

Now tell me Why would somebody like John Reese do this? It doesn’t give sense to me.
I Absolutely DO NOT understand Why would He Stop Using Affiliate links??

I buy 99% of products online Through the affiliate links! Affiliate links Save me time and point me to the products I may never know about.

I don’t pay more if I get the product through an affiliate link, so Why should it bother me? Quite opposite: most of the time I actually even get Bonuses/extras I would not get other wise.

Just because some small-towners, lowbrainers envious bigots cannot stand somebody makes money although it does Not cost Them more, it doesn’t mean He (or any other decent affiliate marketer) have to dance how They are whistling!

Screw those primitives green with envy who don’t trust their own brains to recognize What has a value and what they need, the normal people Do recognize value when they see it.

And I believe any person with an ounce of common sense is perfectly capable to decide IF the product/service would be usable for him/her or not Regardless if it is an ‘affiliate link’ or not.

Just as an example: I bought all of the “core books” from Chris McNeeney of Adwords Miracle fame - and some of them through Affiliate link of somebody else - because I came to the conclusion they will be usable for my Internet business goals - however when Chris started promoting some of those BS like Duvet Dollars etc I just did NOT buy it, because I was perfectly capable to recognize it is Absolutely NOT for me.

Does it mean I am not going to buy what Chris is recommending? No. IF he will come with an offer which I find valuable for me I Will buy through his link.

And it will NOT bother me a iota it is an “Affiliate link”!
